Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a travel assignment in Massachusetts. The Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care treatments, monitor patients requiring respiratory support, manage ventilators, perform blood gas analysis, and work closely with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
• CRT or RRT credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Previous acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and breathing therapies
• Monitor and manage patients on mechanical ventilation
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis
• Assess and document patient respiratory status
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
