Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry Float Pool
📍 San Diego County, CA
💰 $817.59 per 12-Hour Shift | $545.06 per 8-Hour Shift
🏥 Per Diem Float Position
We are currently seeking experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurses to join a dynamic float pool serving three healthcare facilities throughout the San Diego area. This is an excellent opportunity for flexible clinicians who enjoy working in diverse clinical settings while maintaining a consistent per diem schedule.
Position Details
✅ Float between all three assigned facilities located throughout the San Marcos to San Diego area
✅ 12-Hour Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
✅ 8-Hour Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
✅ Per Diem Opportunity
Scheduling Requirements
✔ Must be available to work a minimum of one shift per week
✔ Must be available for at least one weekend shift per month
✔ Must be local to the San Diego area
✔ Candidates must be willing and able to work at all three facility locations
Compensation
💰 12-Hour Shift Rate: $817.59 per shift
💰 8-Hour Shift Rate: $545.06 per shift
Requirements
✅ Active California RN License
✅ Current BLS Certification
✅ Current ACLS Certification
✅ Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
✅ Strong adaptability and ability to work in multiple facility environments
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med Surg and Telemetry patients
- Perform patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Interpret telemetry rhythms and report significant changes
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care while adapting to different facility workflows
