General Comments:

Floor: Cardiovascular ICU
• Specialty: CARDIAC
• Shift: 12 HR shift
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Rotate every other weekend, 12 hour shifts
• Call Requirements: Scheduled for 36 working hours with no additional on call requirements
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: MAY FLOAT TO OTHER AREAS BASED ON CENSUS

• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 UP TO 4:1 DEPENDING ON ACUITY(PROGESSIVE OR STEP DOWN PATIENTS ON THE UNIT)
• Equipment: VENTS, SWANS, BALOON PUMPS, ARTLINES, CRRT
• EHR: MEDITECH

• Supervisor: TERRA NUTT, RN

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: ADULT & GERIATRIC

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: CARDIAC ICU EXPERIENCE, EFFICENT IN RHYTHM INTERPERTATION, ABILITY TO ASSIST WITH BEDSIDE PROCEDURES, DRIPS, VENTS
• Preferred Skillset/Experience:
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: STEMI, N-STEMI, PE, CARDIOGENIC SHOCK, POST CATH
• Personality Fit: OUTGOING, KNOWLEDGEABLE, TEAMWORK, PUNCTUAL AND ACCOUNTABLE

• Required Education: ADN REQUIRED
