Description
Job Requirements
- First-time travelers are not accepted.
- Pending state license is accepted.
- BLS by AHA.
- Oregon state license required.
Schedule
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
- On-call: Not required.
- 48-hour workweeks: Not approved.
- Block scheduling: Not available.
Patient Ratios
- Days: 1:5
- Nights (NOC): 1:10
Floating
- Must be willing to float between units based on facility needs and within scope of practice.
- Travelers may also be required to float to other Providence Health & Services (PH&S) facilities, including:
- Milwaukie
- Newberg
- Portland
- Hood River
- Willamette Falls
- Seaside
- Saint Vincent
Seaside Floating:
- Travelers assigned to a non-Seaside facility who float to Seaside will receive:
- +$5/hour incentive for hours worked at Seaside.
- IRS mileage reimbursement.
- Hotel accommodations if floating for consecutive shifts.
- The facility will provide as much advance notice as possible when assigning travelers to Seaside.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment.
- Travelers are expected to float as needed to meet facility staffing requirements.
