Contract Details

• Location: Des Moines, IA
• Orientation Dates: Rapid onboarding available for August 3rd, August 10th, or August 17th starts.
• Holiday Requirement: Required to work 1 to 2 upcoming holidays (such as Labor Day), unless the unit is fully closed.

Clinical Skills & Case Mix

• Core Role: Strong RN Circulator experience is strictly required.
• Scrubbing: Dual-trained Scrub experience is highly preferred.
• Required Cases: Must be competent and autonomous in General, DaVinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma surgeries.
• Preferred Cases: Experience in the following specialties is highly preferred: Neurosurgery, Orthopedics (primarily trauma-focused), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular.

Requirements & Certifications

• License: Active Iowa (IA) or multi-state Compact RN license required.
• Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS are required.

🚨 CRITICAL Experience & Travel Requirements

Profiles that do not meet these exact criteria will be automatically rejected by the facility:

• Travel Experience: No first-time travelers. Candidates must have successfully completed at least one travel assignment within the previous 15 months.
• OR Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience (acute care hospital/medical center experience is highly prioritized over surgery centers).
• Trauma Background: Minimum of Level II Trauma experience is required (Level I experience is highly preferred).
• EMR Requirement: Active Epic experience within the past 3 years is required.
