- Call Requirements: No
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.
- Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years +

Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing:
- Number of Beds : 14 ICU, 20 Med/Surg
- Patient Ratios : 1:2 in ICU, 1:5 in Med/Surg
- Unit staffing description- 1 PCA, 1 UC
- Type of equipment : standard
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: every other weekend. We have had a lot of issues with call-in’s and no-show. Please do not send candidates that have had attendance issues.
- Floating policy: As needed
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
- Must have ACLS
- Must Have BLS
- At least 2+ years of Experience
- NIH REQUIRED
- Vasopressors
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)
- Meditech Experience Preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
- Active TX RN License-Temp License are no longer accepted
Procedures performed on unit:
- Critical Care
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
- Scrub Color
- RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
- Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
- Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
- Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
- Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
