Position Overview
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to provide advanced cardiopulmonary care for medically complex patients in a specialty hospital environment.
This role is ideal for therapists with strong critical care, LTAC, ventilator, and airway management experience.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical ventilation management
- Oxygen and aerosol therapy
- Tracheostomy and airway care
- ABG monitoring and interpretation
- Ventilator weaning
- Emergency response and airway support
- Patient and family education
- Pulmonary disease management
Required Qualifications
- Virginia Respiratory Therapist License
- CRT or RRT credential through NBRC
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years respiratory therapy experience
- ICU experience
- LTAC experience
- Step-down/progressive care experience
- Ventilator management experience
- Trach and airway management experience
