📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 3 shifts per week (3x12-Hours). Block scheduling configurations are not listed.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly.
- Assignment Length: Focused 8-Week short-term contract block.
- Clinical Scope & Role Definition: Delivers highly coordinated, professional nursing care for an assigned cohort of obstetrical patients utilizing the nursing process, critical thinking, and independent clinical judgment. The selected nurse will actively supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff while seamlessly coordinating care across interdisciplinary disciplines.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Specialized EMR Milestone Requirement: This position is strictly for an active Epic conversion track. Candidates must possess recent Epic and Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years and must have successfully completed a full contract or worked as a permanent staff employee utilizing both systems.
- Experience: Strong foundational background in an acute care facility setting is highly preferred. Must demonstrate expert proficiency in general obstetrics, labor assessment, and maternal-infant workflows.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Licensure: Valid California State Registered Nurse License must be active and in good standing at the time of profile submission.
- Certifications Required: Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) provider certification from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS). Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is strictly required to clear automated portal filters.
