Position Overview

we are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide hospital-wide leadership during PM shifts. This role serves as the administrative leader for the facility, overseeing staffing, patient flow, bed management, clinical operations, and quality initiatives while supporting nursing teams across multiple departments in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the hospital administrative designee during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate hospital-wide staffing, patient placement, admissions, transfers, and throughput.
• Round on patient care units to assess staffing, bed availability, and operational needs.
• Provide leadership and clinical support to nursing staff while resolving operational and patient care issues.
• Monitor patient safety, quality of care, and compliance with Joint Commission, Nursing Practice Act, and regulatory standards.
• Lead emergency response efforts and support hospital-wide operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and resource utilization.
• Mentor staff, support performance improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of safety and accountability.

Requirements

• Active California RN License.
• 5+ years of previous House Supervisor, Nursing Supervisor, or Acute Care Leadership experience.
• Strong experience with staffing coordination, patient throughput, bed management, and hospital operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement, patient safety, HCHAPS, and regulatory compliance.
• Epic EMR experience
