- Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts
- Expected Hours: 36 Hours/Week
- Experience Required: 2+ Years NICU RN Experience
Job Description
The NICU RN will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in a high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The RN is responsible for continuous patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of neonatal care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and premature neonates
- Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and continuous monitoring
- Monitor vital signs and identify changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
- Support neonatal respiratory and critical care needs
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU RN experience
- Recent acute-care Neonatal ICU experience
- BLS required
- NRP required
