Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse – Day Shift (Epic System Conversion Backfill)

Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12 Days (36 Hours Per Week) (Options for up to 48 hours per week may be available depending on system conversion demands).
Short-Term Assignment: 5-Week Condensed Contract (08/17/2026 – 09/20/2026).
Hiring Mechanism [AUTO OFFER]: Direct auto-offer positioning for candidate profiles that meet all technical EMR and documentation criteria.
Time-Off Restrictions [STRICT]: No Requested Time Off (RTO) allowed. The start date is completely firm to ensure stable, high-acuity procedural coverage during active system migration.

EMR Dual-System Mandate [CRITICAL]: This contract provides specialized procedural backfill coverage during an enterprise-wide Epic system implementation.
⚠️ EMR HARDSTOP: Candidates must demonstrate active, highly proficient experience using BOTH Epic AND Cerner EMR platforms within the last 5 years as either a core staff employee or travel contractor.
- Recency Requirement: Must have active, hands-on clinical experience with Epic within the last 12 months.
- Resume Layout Rule: Every single position documented in the candidate's work history must explicitly state the charting system used. If a previous employer utilized multiple EMR systems, precise dates must be provided to clarify exactly when each platform was active.
Licensure & Credentials: Active state RN licensure in the state of practice.
Required Certifications [IN-HAND]:
- Active BLS (Acceptable options: Standard BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy)
- Active ACLS (Acceptable options: Standard ACLS, Healthstream/HS-ACLS, or RQI ACLS) must be active and fully documented at the time of submission.
Education: Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); a Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) is preferred.

Clinical Scope Core Duties: Delivers coordinated, high-acuity nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and peripheral vascular procedures. Intra-Procedural Support: Monitors hemodynamics, manages conscious sedation, administers emergency cardiac medications, and maintains rapid-response readiness for cardiac emergencies (e.g., STEMI). Leadership & Flow: Supervises and directs assigned scrub/circulating nursing tiers or technologists, coordinates care with the interdisciplinary medical team, and utilizes advanced critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent clinical judgment. 👉 Apply now for an immediate auto-offer routing to the Cath Lab services conversion board!
