Description

Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse – 12-Hour Nights

  • Schedule: 12-Hour Nights (19:00 - 07:30) | 13 Weeks | 36 Hours Guaranteed
  • Block Scheduling Policy: Block schedules will not be considered under any circumstances. Candidates must have complete scheduling flexibility.
  • Holiday Rotation: Required to work every other major holiday as scheduled.
  • The Setting: A high-volume, community-based emergency department utilizing Epic EMR (Epic proficiency is highly preferred).
  • Candidate Policy: Both local and travel contractors are accepted.
  • Dress Code: Nurses may wear professional scrubs of any color or style (scrubs are not facility-provided).

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience & Travel Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Emergency Department experience is required. Prior travel contracting experience is an absolute hardstop; first-time travelers will not be reviewed.
  • Licensure & NURSYS Verification:

    ⚠️ LICENSURE HARDSTOP: Submissions must include a NURSYS verification report pulled within the last 7 days showing an active, current, or conditional Massachusetts (MA) RN license. The report must display all historical and present licenses.

  • Required Certifications [IN-HAND]: Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS must be fully documented and submitted with the profile.
  • Local Rate Deduction: Clinicians with a permanent residential address located within a 50-mile radius of the Everett campus are subject to a -$8.00/hr reduction on the standard posted rate.
  • Demographic Compliance: The candidate's submission file must include a copy of their Driver's License, with an address that perfectly matches the demographics stated on the profile.
  • References & Skills Profiles: Submissions must include a current matching skills checklist and 2 recent supervisor or manager references sourced specifically from the matching ED specialty.
  • Time-Off Restrictions: All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be locked in at the time of submission; the facility will not review or guarantee any scheduling requests after confirmation.
  • Health Compliance: Flu vaccination is required during the seasonal window.
