Travel Labor & Delivery RN – LDRP | Nights | Richmond, VA

Job Description

Join Us and provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a busy Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting. We're seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with strong clinical skills and a passion for family-centered care.

Assignment Highlights

13-week travel contract
36 hours per week
LDRP environment with Labor, Postpartum, and Nursery care
EMR: Meditech & CPN

Unit Details

24-bed Maternal Infant Unit
Labor ratio: 1:1 (most deliveries)
Postpartum ratio: 5–6:1
Nursery ratio: 5–6:1
GE fetal monitoring system

Responsibilities

Labor and delivery care
Vaginal deliveries
Cesarean section recovery
Antepartum care
Postpartum recovery
Newborn nursery care

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
LDRP and high-volume birth experience preferred
Current:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
Strong maternal and newborn assessment skills

Schedule Requirements

Every third weekend
12 hours of call every 4-week schedule

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs
