Description

Surgical Scrub Technologist (Allied) – Day Shift

  • Schedule: Days | 13 Weeks | 1 Position Available
  • Position Urgency [CRITICAL]: Rapid Response Crisis. This is an high-priority, urgent opening seeking an immediate candidate match.
  • The Setting: A community-focused, critical access hospital (bed size under 50) utilizing the Epic EMR platform.
  • Holiday Commitment: No holiday coverage is required for this assignment.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 3 to 5 years of recent acute care Operating Room surgical scrub experience is required.
  • Education & Program Accreditation: Must hold a High School Diploma/GED AND be a graduate from an accredited surgical technology program recognized by CAAHEP or ABHES, OR hold active national certification via the NBSTSA.
  • Licensure & Certifications: Active Montana State License/Registration (must be currently active at the time of submission). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • EMR & Documentation: Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic medical record documentation is preferred (Epic experience is highly valued).
Clinical Scope & Core Duties Sterile Field Integrity: Prepares specialized surgical equipment, surgical instrumentation, and clinical supplies prior to and during operative procedures, maintaining strict sterile field boundaries. Surgeon Anticipation: Demonstrates an advanced, clear understanding of surgical interventions in order to seamlessly anticipate the physical and technical needs of the performing surgeon. Workflow Efficiency: Coordinates closely with the circulating nurse and perioperative team to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient procedural flows across general and specialty case mixes. 👉 Apply now for immediate, priority rapid-response routing to the Barrett Hospital surgical review board!
