Job Title

Travel Operating Room RN – Days or Nights | Ortho & Trauma

Job Description

Join a busy Operating Room supporting a wide variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment. We're seeking experienced OR nurses with strong orthopedic and trauma experience who thrive in a collaborative surgical team.

Assignment Highlights

13-week travel contract
Day and Night shifts available
10 Operating Rooms
On-call required: 4–6 shifts per month
Must be available for holiday call coverage as needed

Requirements

Active RN license
PeriOp 101 completion required
Recent Operating Room experience
Strong Orthopedic and Trauma surgical experience
Ability to take call as scheduled

Responsibilities

Circulate a variety of surgical procedures
Prepare and maintain a safe sterile operating environment
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to patient safety standards
Participate in scheduled call rotation, including holidays when required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a high-volume surgical environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced OR setting
