We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital in Hanford, CA.
 

Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring.
Start and maintain peripheral IV access.
Manage cardiac drips (as applicable) and monitor patient responses.
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, and ancillary departments.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Cerner EMR.
Adhere to hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols.
Float to other Med/Surg or Telemetry units as needed within scope of practice.

Minimum Requirements
-Active California RN License
-Current BLS Certification (AHA)
-Current ACLS Certification (AHA)
-Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg-Telemetry RN experience
-Recent Acute Care Hospital experience
-Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
-Cerner EMR experience required
-Excellent IV therapy and medication administration skills
