Position: RN - Med surg

Location: Golden, CO

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract + possible extensions

Shift: Nights 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM  (3x12 Hours)

Schedule: 3 days/week

Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Local candidate accepted as well, pay for locals: $60 - $63/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical Surgical/Orthopedic unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate treatment plans, and support patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, injuries, and various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered
• Provide post-operative orthopedic care and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active Colorado or compact state.
• 1+ year of experience as a RN Med surg and/or Orthopedic.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.
