Assignment Duration: August 10, 2026 – November 7, 2026 (12 Weeks)

Shift Options:

• 4 x 10-hour night shifts (8:45 PM – 7:15 AM), or
• 3 x 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Call Requirement: Weekend and holiday call only

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic perioperative team for a 12-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong circulating experience across multiple surgical specialties and thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment while delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Function as the circulating nurse while maintaining a sterile and safe operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Monitor patient safety throughout the surgical process and respond appropriately to intraoperative changes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
• Experience in a variety of surgical specialties, including:
  • General Surgery
  • Plastic Surgery
  • Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
  • Robotic Surgery
  • Additional multi-specialty surgical procedures preferred
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and sterile technique.

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN License or Compact RN License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Assignment Details

• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Shift Options:
  • 4 x 10-hour nights (8:45 PM – 7:15 AM), or
  • 3 x 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Call Requirement: Weekend and holiday call only
• Local Radius: Candidates residing within 50 miles may be subject to local assignment guidelines.
