CT Technologist (CT Tech)

Assignment Details

• Position: CT Technologist
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
• Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for CT examinations while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate CT imaging equipment and monitor image quality to support accurate diagnoses.
• Administer and monitor contrast studies as required.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
• Manage workflow efficiently in a hospital setting with varying patient acuity levels.

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT (CT) Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based CT experience.
• Experience with GE Revolution CT scanners.
• Strong proficiency performing:
  • Pulmonary Embolism (PE) Studies
  • CT Head and Neck
  • CT Head Without Contrast
  • CT Chest/Abdomen/Pelvis
  • CT Abdomen/Pelvis
  • Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar Spine CT Exams
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong patient care, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in emergency department and inpatient imaging settings.
• Familiarity with high-volume imaging workflows.
• Experience with advanced CT procedures and contrast-enhanced studies.
