Requirements
- Active California RN License
- BSN Required
- BLS Certification
- 1–2 years of Ambulatory/Outpatient Clinic experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Travel experience required
- Two professional references must be included with the submission (no pending references)
- Complete submission packet required (resume, certifications, references, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemo Certification (ONS/ONCC)
- Pediatric experience
- Teaching hospital experience
Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in an outpatient ophthalmology clinic.
- Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, medication reconciliation, patient education, and telephone triage.
- Start IVs, perform venipuncture/specimen collection, administer medications, and assist with clinic procedures.
- Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacy, social services, interpretation services, and other interdisciplinary teams.

- Approximately 500 patient visits per day
- 70 clinic rooms
- One pre-approved RTO request allowed.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required (medical/religious exemptions only).
