Description

Travel Labor & Delivery RN | Float Pool

Join a high-acuity Labor & Delivery team providing care across multiple hospital campuses with Epic charting.

Job Details

Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN
Orientation: 16 Non-Billable Hours
Charting: Epic

Requirements

Experience with high-risk OB patients
Comfortable floating between multiple campuses
Able to care for antepartum, labor, C-section, and vaginal delivery patients

Unit Highlights

45-bed Women's Services Unit
2 Operating Rooms
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1–2
Approximately 150–350 deliveries per month
Common drips: Magnesium, Insulin, and Pitocin
Hospital-provided scrubs

Scheduling & Pay

Holiday requirement: Work 1–2 of 3 major summer holidays (if the unit is open)
Overtime:
- 36–40 hour contracts: OT after 40 hours
- 48 hour contracts: OT after 48 hours
On-Call: $9/hour
Call Back: 1.5x pay (2-hour minimum)
Charge/Preceptor Differential: $6/hour

Additional Information

Local radius: 50 miles (local rate adjustment applies)
Travelers will float between all designated campuses as needed.
