Description

Travel RN – PCU | Days & Nights | 8-Week with possible extension

Location: Adventist Health and Rideout
Job Type: Travel Contract
Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Shift: Days & Nights Available | 3x12s (36 or 48 Hours/Week)
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Start Date: August 10, 2026

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU/step-down patients.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

Requirements

Active RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Recent EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years (required).
Previous acute care/PCU or Step-Down experience required.
BSN preferred.
No RTO accepted.
Must be available to start on August 10, 2026.
