Travel CVICU RN | Nights | 3x12s

Care for high-acuity cardiovascular patients in a specialized CVICU with exposure to advanced cardiac devices and post-open heart recovery.

Job Details

Specialty: CVICU RN
Shift: Nights
Schedule: 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience
SICU experience may be considered with prior CVICU training
First-time travelers welcome
Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Required Skills

Fresh open-heart recovery (CABG, MVR, AVR, TAVR)
Swan-Ganz catheters
FloTrac monitoring
Temporary pacemakers
Arterial lines
Chest tubes
Ventilator management
Experience with Impella, IABP, and CRRT (Prismax) or fresh heart recovery

Patient Population

Fresh post-op cardiac surgery patients
Ventilated patients
Chronic and acute renal failure
Patients requiring chest tubes and lumbar drains

Additional Information

Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1–2
Floating required to all ICUs, PACU, ED (ICU holds), and Intermediate Care units
Every other weekend and holiday required
All requested time off must be submitted with the application
Local candidates accepted
