36 hour/48 hour Every other Week Rotation

Unit: ED

Active LA/Comp License for submission. 
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
Experience Required: 2 years ED. Ventilator management, critical care drips/titration, cardiac rhythm interpretation, measuring cardiac strips, drains, chest tubes, hemodynamic lines: Art lines/CVP, stroke experience (TPA administration), conscious sedation, assisting with splinting (techs will assist), knowledge of the suicide risk assessments – will be checked off during onboarding. Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival.

RN: 1:3-4 or 1:5 in fast-track areas

Infants – End of life
All acuity levels: MedSurg, Stepdown, ICU
Traumas are stabilized and shipped out to Ochsner
Multispecialty – Medical/ Cardiac/Neuro/Ortho/Trauma/Interventional
Included but not limited to: STEMI, NSTEMI, Heart Failure, Stroke requiring interventions, Spinal precautions, Seizures, DKA, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Renal Failure, COVID, ETOH, IVDA, GI illnesses and infections.
