Description

Adult Cardiac OR Surgical Technologist (CST)

Schedule: Day/Evening/Night (DEN) Rotation | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week (3x12 or 4x12 Shifts)
On-Call & Weekends: Standard rotational weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts according to active department needs.
Clinical Setting: High-acuity, fast-paced Adult Cardiac Operating Room caring for complex cardiovascular patients of all age groups.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

Professional Experience [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2 years of recent, dedicated experience within a cardiac operating room (Cardiac OR) is required.
Dual-Role Competency [HARDSTOP]: Candidates must be fully proficient and verified to both scrub and circulate during cardiac cases.
Required Certifications [IN-HAND]:
- NBSTSA Certification OR a documented history of at least 10 years of active experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Active AHA BLS (American Heart Association only — Red Cross or other vendors will not be accepted).

Clinical Scope & Core Duties Advanced Cardiac Procedures: Prepares, scrubs, and assists the surgical team with complex cardiovascular interventions, including: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI / TAVR) Heart Failure Devices (Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs), ECMO, and Total Artificial Hearts) Orthotopic Heart Transplants 👉 Apply now for immediate, priority routing to the Adult Cardiothoracic Surgical Review Board!
