Description

Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – 12-Hour Day Shift

Schedule: 12-Hour Days | 07:00 - 19:30 | 3x12 Shifts (36 Hours Per Week)
Assignment Length: 13-Week Long-Term Assignment (07/27/2026 – 10/25/2026)
On-Call & Openings: On-call rotation required per department needs. 2 open positions available.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1 to 2 years of recent, dedicated clinical oncology experience (administering chemotherapy/immunotherapy and managing complex cancer symptoms) within an acute care, specialty hospital, or outpatient infusion setting.
Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND]:
- Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license must be fully verified at the time of submission.
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Highly Preferred: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential and active ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
Local Rate Rule: Candidates living within the facility's designated local radius will be booked under the local rate.

Clinical Scope & Core Duties Specialized Patient Care: Accountable for clinical decision-making, patient assessment, and the delivery of highly individualized, safe nursing care to oncology patients and complex medical-surgical patient groups. Medication & Infusion Safety: Safely administers therapeutic regimens (including chemotherapy, biotherapy, supportive infusions, and pain management medications) while closely monitoring patients for acute adverse reactions, side effects, or clinical changes. Assess, Monitor & Modify: Reviews, interprets, and implements the medical plan of care.
