Neurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG Tech) – Level 1

Position: Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1
Specialty: EEG / Neurodiagnostic Technology
Shift: Days | 5x8 Hours (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Schedule: Weekends & Holidays as needed
Call Requirement: Required

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex EEG and neurodiagnostic procedures with moderate supervision.
• Conduct EEG testing for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Provide technical support for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), ICU, and other patient care areas.
• Complete accurate documentation of procedures and departmental records.
• Assist with training and guidance of students and new staff when needed.
• Support department goals, objectives, and development of new Neurodiagnostic programs.
• Follow established safety, quality, and patient care standards.

Patient Population

• Adult and Pediatric Patients
• Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Inpatient and Outpatient Settings

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Neurodiagnostic/EEG Tech experience required
• Must have both inpatient and outpatient EEG experience
• Eligible for ABRET registration
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Working knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office/Google productivity tools)
