PAY:
Travelers Pay:
Taxable Amount - $23/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $1,800 weekly
Meals Stipend - $872 weekly
Weekly Gross - $3,500 weekly including stipend for 36 hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Operating Room
Location - 330 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215
Duration - 13 weeks contract
Night Shift - 7 pm to 7:30 am // 36 hours
Candidates must be able to scrub and/or circulate a variety of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Robotics, Kidney and Liver Transplants, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Spine Surgery, ENT (Head & Neck), Gynecology (GYN), Urology, Trauma Surgery, and Organ Procurement.
Specializes in Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery, performing a broad range of procedures including bariatric surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic trauma, spine surgery, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, kidney transplants, and liver transplants.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for procedures
Maintain a sterile environment and ensure adherence to aseptic and infection control practices
Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams during operative procedures
Perform patient assessments and verify surgical consents, site identification, and procedure details
Monitor patient safety throughout surgical procedures and advocate for patient needs
Coordinate surgical workflow and ensure availability of required instruments and equipment
Manage surgical specimens according to facility policies and procedures
Document intraoperative care, surgical counts, and patient outcomes accurately in EMR systems
Respond effectively to emergency situations and support a wide range of surgical specialties
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive surgical outcomes and continuity of care
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.
REQUIREMENT:
Must have 2+ years of operating roo experience.
BLS and ACLS - Required
Must have recent experience in Kidney Transplant, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedic Trauma, Robotics, Trauma, and Transplant surgery.
