🤱 About the Role – Labor & Delivery RN

Join a dynamic Labor & Delivery team providing high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns. This role is ideal for experienced L&D nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident managing labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.

💼 Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal status using advanced fetal monitoring
Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management (including epidurals)
Respond to obstetric emergencies and rapid changes in patient condition
Educate patients and families on labor process, delivery, and postpartum care
Document all care accurately in Epic EMR

✅ Requirements

Active RN License (CA or compact eligible)
Labor & Delivery experience required (acute care)
Epic charting experience – REQUIRED ⚠️
BLS (AHA) – Required
ACLS (AHA) – Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring – Required
Advanced Fetal Monitoring – Required within 1 year
BSN – Preferred
