Job Description: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
Position: Cardiac Cath Lab RN
Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Shift: AM Shift
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
On-Call Requirement: None
Weekend Requirement: None

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac procedures, including electrophysiology (EP) lab experience, and the ability to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
- Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and assist with procedural sedation as required.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Perform patient assessments, documentation, and post-procedure monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control practices, and clinical protocols.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions.
- Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and provide emergency support when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active RN license (state requirements apply).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience required.
- Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Assignment Details
- 13-week contract assignment.
- Day shift schedule.
- Four 10-hour shifts per week.
- No weekends or on-call responsibilities.
- Virtual interview process with one interview round.
