Description
Requirements
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) License required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
- Must be an independent practitioner
- Home Health experience required
- OASIS training/documentation experience required
- Experience treating adult and geriatric patients in the home health setting
- Skilled in ADL training, home safety evaluations, home exercise programs, patient/family education, splinting, joint mobilization, cardiac rehabilitation, edema management, TENS, and ultrasound therapy
- Experience with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, cardiac, COPD, CHF, CVA, Parkinson's, trauma, amputee, and fall-risk patients
- Proficient in evaluations, reassessments, discharge planning, and documentation
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for home visits
- Ability to complete a minimum of 6 patient visits per day (30+ visits per week)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Flu vaccination or signed declination required (mask required if declined)
