Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU | Travel | San Diego, CA
Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support a high-acuity Level III NICU in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate has recent neonatal critical care experience and is confident providing respiratory care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients.
- Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Monitor patient response, document care, and communicate changes with the healthcare team.
- Follow respiratory care protocols, infection prevention standards, and patient safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- PALS
- Minimum 3 years of recent acute care Respiratory Therapy experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Level III NICU experience
