Description
Job Title: Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse - Mixed Acuity
Job Description: Join the dynamic team at Inova Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, VA! We are seeking an experienced ER RN for a travel assignment. This is a fast-paced environment where you will care for a mixed population of adult and pediatric patients across all zones of the ED. If you are highly adaptable, comfortable with high-acuity patients, and experienced in both adult and pediatric emergency care, we would love to connect!
Contract Details:
- Target Start Date: 07/06/2026
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (Primarily 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM, with flexibility required to work 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Scheduling: Includes a weekend commitment of 6 shifts per 6-week block.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required. Must have proven experience in both Adult and Pediatric ER settings.
- Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are strictly required. (TNCC is a plus!)
- Skills: Proficient in managing complex drips, including vasopressors, insulin, and sedation. Must be comfortable maintaining a 1:4 ratio (stretching to 1:5 during peak census).

- Attire: Navy Blue scrubs.
