Description
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or Compact License).
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center preferred.
- Experience in a Stroke Certified Facility preferred.
- Proficient in:
- Triage
- Cardiac monitoring
- Dysrhythmia management
- IV therapy and phlebotomy
- Central line care
- Ventilator management
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Emergency response and critical care interventions
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
