Description

IMC RN (Intermediate Care)

Contract: 8 weeks | Start: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Shift: Nights, 3x12s
Float: All inpatient units as needed, including nearby facilities if required

Requirements

Active Wisconsin or Compact RN License
BLS & ACLS (AHA or ARC)
Minimum 2 years of Step-Down / Intermediate Care / PCU experience
At least 1 completed travel assignment (no first-time travelers)
Epic experience strongly preferred

Med Surg Intermediate Care Unit
Patient Ratio: 4:1
12-bed ICU and 23-bed Med Surg unit

Sepsis
Trauma
Alcohol detox
GI bleed
Colostomy/Ileostomy
Chest tubes
TBI
Ortho trauma
Spinal cord injury
Stroke
Insulin drips

Weekend/Holiday

Every other weekend
Every other holiday

Additional Notes

Eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census per contract
Low census hours may be placed on call (2-hour minimum callback)
Any scrub color permitted
Orientation week hours are not guaranteed
Travelers declining flu/COVID vaccination must wear a mask during flu season
