Description
No locals - 60 miles radius rule
MUST BE ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY DO VEIN HARVESTING
OR First Assist needed: 10H Days with call, 6:30a-5p. Weekday call: Coverage from the end of the scheduled shift through 07:00 AM the following morning. Weekend and holiday call: Coverage from 07:00 AM to 07:00 AM the following day.
EVH certification through NBSTSA, NSAA, or ABSA REQUIRED.
Travelers MUST have Vein Harvesting experience.
BLS, CFSA through CAAHEP or CST through ABHES are required.
NBSTSA will be accepted as well.
3 years of CV experience is required, non-negotiable.
No IVS, straight to manager. First assists will be expected to cover the surgical tech role as needed throughout the week.
Surgical Tech First Assist provides direct support to surgeons during surgical procedures. Positioning and prepping patients prior to surgery, ensuring clear visibility for the surgeon by using instruments such as retractors and sponges, controlling bleeding, closing surgery sites using sutures or staples and properly dressing wounds. They also collaborate with doctors and other surgical team members to ensure proper post-operative care of patients.
