Job Title: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI Lab
Location: Leesburg, VA, 20176
Shift Timing: Days- 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM
Working Hours: 40 hours per week; 10 hrs/day, and 4 days in a week (4x10s)
Schedule: Monday–Friday; Weekends Covered By Call Rotation


Position Summary:
A minimum of 2 years of endoscopy RN experience is required. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive clinical expertise, including experience with advanced medical procedures and EMR/EHR systems, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• EMR: EPIC and Provation.
• Approximately 25 procedures per day.
• Patient Mix: 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient.
• The unit also supports Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) three times per week.
• Nurses assist with: Pre-operative preparation, Intra-operative support (time-out and documentation), Post-operative recovery care

Required Qualifications:

• VA State Active RN License
• BLS-AHA Certification
• ACLS-AHA Certification
• PALS-AHA Certification (preferred)
