Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare, monitor, and recover patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
- Administer medications, moderate sedation, and IV therapies as ordered.
- Continuously monitor patient hemodynamic status and respond to emergencies.
- Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment while maintaining a sterile environment.
- Educate patients and families before and after procedures.
- Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
- Float to other units or Providence facilities as needed based on staffing requirements and competency.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience (Cath Lab experience required)
- First-time travelers accepted
- Current RN license (Pending Oregon license accepted if applicable)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency cardiac care
