Registered Nurse – Immunizing Nurse (Vaccination Initiative)

Location: CVS Pharmacy – 130 Hockersville Road, Hershey, PA 17033
Duration: 08/23/2026 – 11/30/2026
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (40 Hours/Week)

Job Overview

CVS Health is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join its Vaccination Initiative Program. The RN will administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended vaccines while providing exceptional patient care in a retail healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations.
Perform patient screening, assessments, and obtain vaccination consent.
Educate patients on vaccines, preventive care, and post-vaccination instructions.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions following immunization.
Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting community wellness.
Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain vaccine storage, infection control, and safety standards.
Adapt to changing workflows and support daily clinic operations.
Foster a positive patient experience through excellent communication and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization and patient care experience.
BLS (AHA) certification required.
Strong medication administration and patient assessment skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexible to work the assigned schedule.
High School Diploma/GED (verification required).
Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
Prior CVS/Aetna experience is not required.

This is an onsite, patient-facing role.
PPE will be provided.
Immediate start upon successful onboarding.
