Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – PHLEBOTOMY REQUIRED!!!!

TravSource is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13+ week travel assignment at a moderate complexity outpatient clinic in beautiful Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin.

If you're looking for a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holiday shifts, this is an excellent opportunity.

As an MLT/MLS, you'll perform professional laboratory testing and specimen analysis while supporting quality patient care in a clinic environment.

Responsibilities include:

Phlebotomy (required)
Hematology testing (automated analyzer; no manual differentials)
Urinalysis
Clinical chemistry using Vitros dry-slide analyzer
PCR respiratory testing (Cepheid & Spotfire platforms)
Processing reference laboratory send-out specimens
Maintaining quality control and laboratory instrumentation
Accurate documentation using Orchard Harvest Laboratory Information System (LIS)
Qualifications

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Phlebotomy experience required
Strong laboratory and specimen processing skills
Knowledge of quality assurance and laboratory safety standards
Ability to work independently in a clinic laboratory setting
