Location: Mequon, Wisconsin

Contract Length: 13 Weeks 

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12s)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected acute care hospital in Mequon, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident RN with strong Med/Surg and telemetry experience who thrives in a fast-paced inpatient environment and enjoys providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have previous travel nursing experience, be proficient with Epic EMR, and possess strong telemetry interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Interpret cardiac telemetry and promptly recognize rhythm changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records.
• Float within your clinical competency to other units or affiliated facilities within a 40-mile radius, if needed. 

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Strong telemetry monitoring/interpretation experience
• Experience using Epic EMR
• Current BLS Certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale Certification
• Ability to pass all required competency exams and onboarding requirements

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
• Every Other Holiday (EOH) required
• No on-call responsibilities
