Job Summary

CVS Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support its Vaccination Initiative. The RN will administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations in a retail pharmacy setting while providing exceptional patient care, education, and clinical support.

Minimum Requirements

Active, unrestricted RN License
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience
Current BLS Certification
Experience administering Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine vaccines
Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
High School Diploma/GED (verification required)

Responsibilities

Administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines
Screen patients and assess eligibility for immunization
Educate patients regarding vaccines, possible side effects, and aftercare instructions
Maintain accurate vaccination documentation and patient records
Follow CDC, state, and CVS vaccination protocols
Ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and infection control practices
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a retail clinic environment
Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare team members
Maintain flexibility with scheduling based on business needs

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Adaptable, dependable, and customer-focused
Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment

Looking for candidates residing within 30–35 minutes driving distance of the work location. This is preferred for all CVS Vaccination Support roles.
