Description
Job Title: Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour Shifts (10/12-hour shifts are not available)
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical scrub duties across multiple specialties
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instrumentation
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
- Maintain compliance with surgical standards and infection prevention protocols
- Precept and support onboarding of new staff
- Work independently in a fast-paced operating room environment
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of recent CST experience (Required – Non-Negotiable)
- Travel experience required (No first-time travelers)
- Must be able to take call
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to precept other staff (proficiency must be noted in profile)
Required Surgical Experience
Required:
- General Surgery
- Gynecology (GYN)
- Vascular
- Thoracic
- Orthopedics (including total joints)
- Neuro Head & Spine
- Trauma
