Description

Job Highlights

5x8 day shifts
Must live 50+ miles from the facility
Call required:
- 1 weekday per week
- 1 weekend per month (Friday 3:30 PM – Monday 6:30 AM)
Candidate should be willing to help educate McAllen Heart Hospital staff
Cath Lab performs emergency and elective angioplasty, drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology procedures, and pacemaker implantation

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of monitoring diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology studies
Recent acute care experience required
Current RN license
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
BSN highly preferred

Preferred

Knowledge of Micropace

Responsibilities

Monitor diagnostic and therapeutic EP procedures
Provide care during electrophysiology studies and interventions
Assist with emergency and elective angioplasty procedures
Support pacemaker implantation and other cardiac rhythm procedures
Deliver safe, high-quality patient care while meeting regulatory and licensing standards
Educate and support patients, families, and staff as needed
