ICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Belleville, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 18:45 - 7:15)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with floating to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) as needed
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 2 patients
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, working 3 out of 6 weekends on a rotating schedule
- Start Date: Approximately 3-4 weeks from offer due to compliance tier; biweekly start dates available
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
- Locals accepted if within 75-mile radius (local rate applies)
- No pending licenses accepted
- No on-call required
- No block scheduling accommodations
- Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: No more than 7 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Minimum 2 years of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
