Job Title: Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Post-OR & Oncology Overflow
Job Description: Join the nursing team at a premier CommonSpirit Health facility! We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment focusing on post-OR recovery patients and oncology medical-surgical overflow. If you are an adaptable, patient-focused nurse looking for a great clinical assignment, apply today! First-time travelers are welcome.
Contract Details:
- Shift: 12-hour shifts.
- Patient Ratios: 1:5.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required. Oncology-specific background is not mandatory.
- Certifications: Active BLS required.
- Radius Policy: You must reside strictly outside a 50-mile radius. A copy of your driver's license must be submitted with your application for verification.
- CommonSpirit Policy: Candidates who have worked as a permanent, part-time, or PRN employee at any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past 12 months are not eligible.
Important Unit Notes:
- Artificial Nail Policy: Artificial nails are strictly prohibited in all patient care areas.
- Orientation Exam: All travelers participate in a supportive, open-book skills exam during Friday orientation, requiring a 90% to pass.
