Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Stepdown)
Location: Lima, OH
Schedule: Nights | 36 Hours per Week | 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Stepdown unit providing exceptional care to patients requiring close cardiac and medical monitoring. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Monitor and care for telemetry and stepdown patients with a variety of acute medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with nursing standards and physician orders.
- Continuously evaluate patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case management, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Coordinate patient care throughout hospitalization and assist with discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and recovery plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Advocate for patient safety while participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Stepdown nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred if applicable)
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
