We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Stepdown unit providing exceptional care to patients requiring close cardiac and medical monitoring. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Monitor and care for telemetry and stepdown patients with a variety of acute medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with nursing standards and physician orders.
• Continuously evaluate patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case management, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Coordinate patient care throughout hospitalization and assist with discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and recovery plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Advocate for patient safety while participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Stepdown nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred if applicable)
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and patient assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
