FACILITY:

• Level I Trauma Center
• 16 Operating Rooms (run 12-14 routinely)
• Average 35-50 cases/day
• Turnover expectation: Less than 20 minutes
• Will float across all UnityPoint campuses (Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran)

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS - DO NOT SUBMIT WITHOUT:

• 24 months current OR experience REQUIRED (hospital/medical center prioritized)
• Circulating/OR experience REQUIRED
• Scrub experience HIGHLY PREFERRED (both scrub and circulate preferred)
• NO first-time travelers - must have completed travel assignment within past 15 months
• Trauma Level II experience REQUIRED
• Trauma Level I experience HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Epic EMR experience within past 3 years REQUIRED
• Iowa RN License or Compact/Multistate (active at submission)

REQUIRED CASE EXPERIENCE:

• General surgery REQUIRED
• DaVinci Robotics REQUIRED
• Pediatrics REQUIRED
• Trauma REQUIRED

HIGHLY PREFERRED CASE EXPERIENCE:

• Neurology
• Orthopedics (primarily trauma)
• Gynecology
• Urology
• Transplants
• Plastics
• ENT
• Vascular

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:

• 3 DaVinci Robots
• Stealth technology for neuro navigation
• Primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma
• Limited ortho joints

SERVICE LINES: Cardiac/PV, Neuro, Ortho (primarily trauma), Robotics, GYN, URO, General, Pediatrics, Transplants, small volume ENT/Plastics

CALL REQUIREMENTS - EXTENSIVE:

• Up to 1 overnight/week
• 3 weekends per 13-week contract
• Weekend call: Friday 5p through Monday 6:30a
