Description

Required Experience

Experience in Pre-Op and Phase II PACU Recovery
Must have experience recovering post-cardiac catheterization patients
Comfortable caring for adult and occasional pediatric patients (<18 years) (no infants under 12 months)

Required Qualifications

BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
Active Illinois RN License
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)

Preferred Certifications

Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS)
Emergency Communications Registered Nurse (ECRN)
Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN)
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)

Patient Population

Primarily older adults
Occasional pediatric patients (under 18 years), which is why PALS is required.
