Job Details
- Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Location - Tacoma, WA
- Setting: Home Health
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Travel: Local travel required
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
- Assess and improve patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and independence.
- Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and home safety modifications.
- Complete timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, Medicare guidelines, and agency policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or rehabilitation experience
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience required
- Current CPR Certification
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
