Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Home Health

Pride Health is hiring a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to support Home Health Clinic.   If you're passionate about helping patients regain independence in the homes, we'd love to connect with you!

 Job Details

  • Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Location - Tacoma, WA
  • Setting: Home Health
  • Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
  • Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Travel: Local travel required

 Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Assess and improve patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and independence.
  • Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and home safety modifications.
  • Complete timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, Medicare guidelines, and agency policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care or rehabilitation experience
  • Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience required
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
